Process Tour

Want to see how DIX Metals works? Take our quick interactive tour and follow a day in the life of a job at DIX Metals.

To start the tour from the beginning, click on the tour icon located below the schematic of the DIX Metals facility. If you prefer to skip to a process of particular interest to you, simply click on the related station on the map. When photographs accompany the various processes, you can click on them to view an enlarged version. One item unique to DIX Metals is a job-tracking sheet that's called a ‘job traveler.’ It moves along with the job as it progresses through the facility and maintains a record of every step. Data collection stations at each work area gather information on what was performed. As you go through the tour, you may also click on the job traveler icon in the upper right corner of the page to see how each step is recorded.
