Ever conscious of the demands on OEMs and job shop time and margins, Dix Metals has introduced a seventh Blanchard grinder to the shop, to complement the existing fleet of six Blanchard grinders, six double disc grinders and ten duplex mills already on their production line.

The latest addition to DIX Metals’ array of advanced machinery is the Flow International Corps newest dual head and dynamic head waterjet system with 87,000 PSI technology and active tolerance Control.

Using Flow International's Waterjet Machines, Dix machine-ready blanks are produced with taper being all but eliminated. Additionally, water jet cutting eliminates heat affected zones; enabling true part stacking ability with consistent tolerance, layer to layer.
